Carbon Footprint a long Cruise
€20
- As pirates we love to set sail on the open sea.
- Unfortunately Cruises have a very high carbon footprint.
- A long cruise causes around 2.5 ton CO2 per person.
If we continue to release CO2 at our current rate, the planet will be set for global disaster within 30 years. Think floods, droughts, wild fires, lack of drinkable water and food shortages. Offsetting your Carbon today is small price to pay for keeping the planet safe for ourselves and future generations.
The cruise calculation is based on a 14 day cruise, standard cabin with a total capacity of 1800 people. The total emission caused by the cruise is divided by all passengers and takes into consideration the amount of carbon released due to the ships size, weight and use of crude oil as fuel.
